The Tear Drop Formed  deep inside.  Emanating from  a corner of the eye.  It leaves a trail, crooked and  damp. It finds a place to hesitate.  Pauses to gather mass. Clings to its  sorrowful creator. It drops. Falls, glistens  shimmers, bends light. Catches a rainbow  on its droplet form. Prismatic colors dance on  its surface. Made of water, salt, and sadness.  Basic elements of life. When it finds a surface  it explodes. Creating a pattern much larger  than itself. Leaves a print, a dark spot.  A temporary memory that fades into  the past. Much like whatever  caused it to exist.
